Meet Dr. John Welch
DDS, Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry
Dr. John Welch was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He spent his childhood growing up in the cornfields of Shellsburg, Iowa. He graduated from Wartburg Collge Magna Cum Laude with a triple major in Chemistry, Biology, and Biochemistry. Dr. Welch then attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Welch loves the art and science of dentistry. He has traveled all over the nation to learn advance skills from the best in the field, but patient comfort remains his top priority. He received his fellowship award in the Academy of General Dentistry in the Summer of 2016. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Welch is married to Cassidy. He spends his free time traveling, working out, and target practicing. Dr. Welch and Cassidy have 3 furbabies. Dogs Stella and Capri and Cat Josh. He also works with dental charities such as the Mission of Mercy, donating his expertise to those less fortunate.
