August 21st was such a neat day for us, wasn’t it? The eclipse was such a great experience for so many of us. For school officials and those responsible for the protection of kids, it was a tough call to determine how to embrace the phenomenon, and yet protect the children’s eyes from the harmful rays. When the moon traveled between the sun and the Earth is when the eclipse occurred. The darkness created by that shadow was pretty cool, huh? Did you have proper safety viewing glasses or another safe viewing method?
While all of the excitement that surrounded the shadowing of the Earth, it made us think about brightness. Humans long for light, we need the sun to survive. Nature even gravitates toward light. How are your teeth looking lately? Are they experiencing dark shadows as well? If so, the darkness (gray or yellow tint) may be due to many factors. Aging is a big factor for discoloration. Food and beverages can stain your teeth as well. Red wine, tea, coffee, nicotine, and other dark-colored substances will fade the naturally bright teeth you once had.
